Bio

I am a writer and thinker and sometimes visual artist. The things I so happen to write and think and visualize aren't usually on the list of "most politically fashionable" in modern society, though I insist this is a naturally occurring phenomenon. The things that move me, I contend, are not forces estranged from the ordinary human spirit; they are a part of us all—seen and unseen, purposefully or unknowingly hidden. I journey down whatever road the muses may lead me.


I am admittedly a conundrum at times. Those who think they can bottle me up in a tidy and predictable package are certainly mistaken, but the greater tapestry of what I am—reclusive, creative and passionate—never wavers. Whatever I do I pour myself into entirely, building the reef of my own experience in the flicker that is the human life span.


My primary forte is photography and design. I do these things more for myself than anyone else, really. It's good to leave one's creative mark on the world, however impermanent it may be. I am (still) attempting to write a novel.


My lifestyle is often one of comfortable reclusiveness. I move every now and then. I never plant roots too firmly in one spot, though I do tend to stay within New England. I love Autumn far too much to venture too far out of one of its best theaters.
